    Questions about d-day adventure park

what are the try outs or qualifying courses people have to take to be a ranger or snipers for exsample?
Does the rank structure work like actual military and how does one recieves promotions?
    Does active military play?

    1) Snipers have a course that they go through to get the sniper cards and paint. Rangers, and other SF units, go through the Obstacle course Wed afternoon.
    2) Every unit does it differently but most have a basic rank structure. Promotions usually happen due to number of years played or performance on the field, or off the field.
    3) Active military, and lots of former military, play. Just on my team alone we have 3 former military (Army, Navy, and Marine) and one current (myself, ARMY).

If you have more questions just ask or PM me.

Probably need to throw this in here.

The rank structure at D-Day is purely for getting things organized, nothing more....or shouldn't be. Most players are civilians and D-Day is their vacation. In many ways it is more fun just being a grunt than having Command "responsibilities".

This is true. I wish I could remember what being a grunt was like. I hear its a blast. But if you want to move up. You have to put in a lot of work. D Day isn't just a week in the summer. For command it a 12 month commitment.

Feels like there are more then 12 months involved....but we love this game so this is what we do to make it happen.

The positions ranging from Grunt to Platoon Leader is where you can truly make a difference in the game.
(and to have the most fun without getting totally buried in all the command & game preparation stuff 24/7)

Yea take it from me and DO NOT go above Sergeant, and remember that asking for rank doesn't always make it happen. Just go, have fun and play hard, play fair.

You got that right Spike. Just enjoy the game. If command is right for you. Someone will ask you. Till then. Enjoy the peace.

    Lol, True story.

Command can be a royal pain, and even if you have the capacity to command, its possible that just about every little thing will just not work out.

    The cake is a lie.
